GAISSA members Joel Castaño and Silverio-Martínez Fernández participated in the DLBCN 2023 symposium to present a poster of their paper titled 'Exploring the Carbon Footprint of Hugging Face's ML Models: A Repository Mining Study.'

Exciting news! Our research paper, titled "Identifying architectural design decisions for achieving green ML serving" has been accepted for presentation at the International Conference on AI Engineering – Software Engineering for AI (CAIN2024)!
In November 2024, GAISSA members visited the FrAmeLab research group at the University of L’Aquila to discuss sustainable and intelligent software systems. The visit included an invited lecture on AI sustainability and fostered collaboration on energy-efficient computing and responsible AI-driven development.
